Love Mom, Letter 11

Welcome to the eleventh edition of Love, Mom Monday! Consider yourself invited to participate in the tradition. You don't have to be a mom to participate. Just write a letter to someone you love. It could be your spouse, a friend, a neighbor, a sibling, uncle, grandparent, etc. But take the challenge. Write a letter, and spread the love. Heaven knows we could do with more.

Rules:

1. Post the letter (on your blog or FB, or wherever).
2. Comment here with a link to your letter.
3. Comment on the person's post who posted before you, to spread the love.

 Dear Monkey,

Wow, what a week it's been...

Just looking through the pictures I've taken this week makes me want to take a nap... again.

Daddy enjoyed sword fighting with you.
You tore the curtains down from your window...

So we had to tape it up with duct tape... it's lasted a few days, hopefully it'll stay that way.

We had our friend Amelia come play on Thursday and Friday, and you and I spent a lot of time outside playing, and coloring with sidewalk chalk and colored pencils... seeing as how you ate two (ENTIRE) crayons earlier this week...

I found it interesting that you continually switched from using your left hand...

To using your right!

Left...

Right...

Right...

Left...

Left...

And moments later... RIGHT!

I have no way of knowing how you'll end up.

You're creative, smart, funny, and so sweet! You've been getting more and more obedient every day. I'm grateful to see you learning and communicating more every day.

I love to see how much you love to color!

Every day, you ask for your paper and colored pencils, and I think you'd probably go at it all day long if I let you... I only stop you when you try to eat your drawing tools. Learn to use them properly, and you can do it as much as your little heart desires.

I love you, buddy.

Love,

Mom

P.S.

We love seeing how you've fallen asleep, now that you're using a big-boy-bed instead of a crib.

If often makes us laugh :-)
